WHAT IS BROW SHAPING?

Brow Shaping Treatments are avaliable with our experienced Brow Specialists

An initial brow shaping treatment involves an eyebrow wax, tint, trim and tweeze to specifically suit your needs and aims to create groomed and fuller looking brows. During this service ‘brow correction’ and styling advice will be given to create your ideal brow shape. At MK Brow Boutique we also spend some time teaching you how to apply eyebrow products to achieve the look you are after.

At MK Brow Boutique we believe that perfectly sculpted eyebrows balance your facial features and frame your eyes. Eyebrow shaping aims to tailor your brow shape to suit your unique facial characteristics, skin tone and hair colour, without dramatically changing their natural appearance.

LEAVING IT UP TO THE PROFESSIONAL

A single brow experience can leave you with thin, uneven brows, so it is worthwhile leaving it up to a professional. Have you ever had a wax that felt like you have just had your brows massacred? Yes, I thought so! MK Brow Boutique believe each hair counts, as it can take months for eyebrow hair to grow and seconds to remove them! 

WHAT IS BROW CORRECTION?

The most common mistake is over-tweezing and waxing your eyebrows creating a thin, shapeless and unnatural look. The MK Brow Team brow correction involves filling in “gaps” and advice on required brow “growth” along with the recommendation of appropriate eyebrow products.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE A BROW SHAPING TREATMENT?

We recommend approximately 3-6 brow shaping sessions to get your brows on the right path.

After your initial treatment, maintenance treatments are recommended every 4-6 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth.

BROW GROWTH REHAB

If you have thin eyebrows that you are wanting to grow out, we recommend 6-12 months of ‘brow rehab’ to allow the brow hair to grow out. During this period Brow Shaping treatments are optional and can be performed by leaving the hairs closest to the brow line. The main thing to remember is that your eyebrows may not be perfect to begin with, however this allows you to have tidier brows whilst growing them out.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BROWS DO NOT GROW?

After ‘Brow Rehab’, you may still lack hair growth usually due to years of over waxing and plucking which can cause permanent damage to the hair follicle.
